Out of Control

Once I figured out the communication business on CC, I tended to gravitate toward it. I don't really know why.

One of the things that I liked was that it told me if a person had been active in the past 24 hours. You can't imagine how depressing it is to send someone a communication and not hear back from them. Ever.

I would rather you close the communication than just ignore me. That is rude. And I am no longer surprised you are single.

The tide is turning though because these CC guys are a little weird. And very reluctant to communicate.

Now I'm clearly not a traditionalist or I wouldn't be sending first communications, etc. But seriously - do not click that you "are interested in me" and just let me sit in your match box. Take a little initiative. Send a "chemistry starter," write an email...DO SOMETHING!

But man oh man, I have heard stories about people being denied from EH and I thought it was crazy, but it is starting to make a little sense. Some of these people should not be allowed to date. I'm actually questioning if they should be able to use a computer.

I had one match today and the following statements were in his profile. You'll find my reactions in white.

• "...mature, ripe but young looking and sexy young Man with energy to spare..." This doesn't even make sense. And why did he capitalize man?
• "...Greek body, wide shoulders, small feet :-) LOL." 1. do not advertise that you have small feet, we all know what they say about small feet. 2. do not use an emoticon in your dating profile - especially if you are a man. 3. LOL. Really?
• "I wear satin boxers or nothing..." I think this information is best left until the person finds out for themselves.
• "I love to shoot music videos, pool and some people lol." read: I like to make porn, in shady establishments, with shady characters. And I think it is funny.
• "Love to watch the History, Biography, TLC Discovery, Health and other educational channels, all entangled and cuddled up with my sexy erotic woman..." Yes, nothing says sexy and erotic like Medical Incredible and Cash Cab.
• "I love to learn, write, deep think, and especially touch...things slowly" You are a creeper. And may be a sex addict.

I guess there is someone out there for everyone, but I'm starting to have some concerns about the answers to my questions that led this man to be matched with me.
